Here at York Means Business we hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and we wish you well for the New Year and a successful 2017. This time last year, parts of the city centre were busy dealing with the after effects of the Boxing Day floods and it’s sad to note from today’s Press that the Blue Bicycle restaurant on Fossgate have announced they will be closed until at least April.
April will also see the reopening of the new Jorvik Viking Centre. York Mix have recently reported on what the last 12 months has looked like for Jorvik and we have been pleased to have been able to support them.
Thankfully the Christmas / New Year period this year has been much quieter and we hope the more settled weather conditions combined with seasonal trading have providing a good base for local businesses to enjoy a successful 2017.
